Boca Raton, F.L. – The Vanderbilt Commodores traveled down to Florida for two games against the Lynn Fighting Knights on Jan. 27th and 28th.

Junior forward Julian Yang opened the scoring for Friday night’s game with a shot late in the first period. Yang would score again less than a minute into the second period. Freshman defenseman Shay Crean scored his first career goal off a 2-1 feed, and senior forward Christian Cottone scored four goals, lifting the Dores to a 9-1 victory over Lynn.

Ryan and Owen Boersma both scored two goals during Saturday’s victory. Trevor White netted his first of the season, as Vanderbilt beat Lynn 8-2. The Dores improve their record to 7-9, and will face the University of Central Florida at home this weekend.
